Live Hayseed Dixie! Holy Crap. Hayseed Dixie is a fantastic bluegrass band with a demented bent. Most famous for covering AC/DC songs (hence the name), they perform a variety of stuff on the show, and it all kicks ass (You Shook Me all Night Long, Best Friend's Girlfriend, Poop in a Jar, and Ellie Schaffer). Sandwiching in Hayseed Dixie is a carefully selected collection of Halloween music.

"There's a healthy dose of Shel Silverstein in this show. There's also a Japanese version of Smells Like Teen Spirit and a Chinese rap song that samples the Ghostbusters Theme. There's also some gratuitous beatboxing near the end, featuring Roy, Dave, and a couple of interlopers."

In this show I talk over Thelonious Moog rather than Mario Kart. Could this be the start of a new page in Nummy history. Only time will tell, but I also played a lot of really funny stuff, stuff that doesn't get played all the time. I was very satisfied with how it turned out, and I think you will be too.

The show begins with a blood-curdling scream. This is the closest you'll ever hear Roy get to rage. Parking sucks and Roy is late to the show. Which will win out? Automobile-induced wrath or the pure joy of Nummy nirvana? You be the judge!

Austin's own Celtic duo The Brobdingnagian Bards perform some of their sillier songs on this show (in between extraordinarily geeky discussions about The Lord of the Rings, Ren Faires, and so forth)

Lemony Fresh Tami co-hosts on this extra special episode of Nummy Muffin Cocoa Butter... extra special, that is, because Jennifer and Tami cuss up a storm. Plus, No Time's "Dick Rap" is played on the air, for possibly the first time ever.

This show was a blast for no particular reason. I was flying solo, but I got lots of requests and had tons of energy. Also, back by popular demand, the last 10 minutes of the show are filled with random blips and hiccups... at no extra cost to you, the listener!

Wes "joins with" Roy on this very succulent episode of Nummy Muffin Cocoa Butter. For some reason Wes sounds far off and quiet, but don't be blue! You can still make him out. So grab a stack of flapjacks, invite Wanda over, put on your Zoot suit, and give it a listen.

Holy Smax! This here is a recording of the newest incarnation of Nummy Muffin... the super-cool, back from the dead, it's great to be home again, Tuscaloosa edition. Hosted by Jennifer, who used to be a fan of the first Tuscaloosa show. She does the show proud, so give a listen.

The first show of the Fall 2003 semester. For some reason, I had an INSANE amount of energy, so I tend to ramble a lot on this one. If the callers are any indication though, it was an enjoyable experience all around. This is one my favorite shows in a while. A word of caution, though. The last 10 minutes has some strange blips and hiccups due to a recording problem. Most of it is fine, though.

On this particular show, the Powers That Be decreed that I would read 101 public service announcements, so between songs you get to hear me spouting off about the dangers of breast cancer and the stupidity of children. I also played a ton of new music, so this is a good place to get some fresh tunes.

Things always go a lot better when I have co-hosts. With both Wes and Eric in tow, this is a pretty amusing show. Highlights include Eric's engagement (to a girl!), an impromptu sitcom, and Wes's cruelty towards the mentally handicapped. Also, we played a lot of the Goldmarks' music.

Major props to Eric for co-hosting with me. We got a lot of calls, and played the Abe Lincoln sounds that The Egyptian Magician and I recorded the night before. This was my first attempt at using the line-in on my mp3 player to record the show. Plus, you get to hear my jealous rant about the Tuscaloosa Edition of Nummy Muffin's popularity.
